8. Key elements of project management
There are many elements to consider when managing a KM project. These elements must be mastered by the project team from the outset, to ensure success as well as respect for costs and deadlines.
8.1 Change management
The overall objective of change management is to promote the appropriation of the information system applications to be implemented (or previously implemented), thus encouraging optimum use. In other words, change management enables us to capitalize on the use made of the system by the various stakeholders. In this way, a chain reaction is set in motion: the more value the information systems bring to business uses (individual benefits linked to the task), the easier it will be to transform the organization.
