5. Practical aspects of piloting
The global supply chain model on which we have based our reasoning above is too reductive to allow us to see all the business situations that may arise. To anticipate the variety of possible behaviors, we need to take the analysis of this chain a step further, and extract the different possible company positions.
These different positions will lead to different requirements for the part of the global supply chain for which the company is responsible. It is therefore important to be aware of these positions in order to define your own requirements and understand those of others.
Based on this understanding, we can select the most appropriate indicators for the expected steering efficiency.
