5. Pyrotechnic compositions
The world of pyrotechnic compositions offers the largest number of compositions for the widest variety of effects . These are mixtures of oxidizing and reducing products, which we will present in terms of their different effects: heat, noise, light, smoke, thrust, gas and delay.
In this field, know-how remains empirical, based on specialist knowledge and testing. Only defense applications benefit from an initial theoretical approach.
