Frédéric CHÉRIOUX is a CNRS research fellow working in the FEMTO-ST laboratory at UMR 6174 (Besançon).

Franck PALMINO is a lecturer at the University of Franche-Comté and works in the FEMTO-ST/CREST laboratory of UMR CNRS 6174 (Belfort-Montbéliard).

  • Nanotechnologies (or "nanosciences" as they are better known) are booming, but have few industrial applications. There are many reasons for this: manufacturing costs, understanding phenomena, experimental studies of nanoscale properties, lifetimes of engineered structures, connections between nanostructures...
