Scilab is a broad-spectrum numerical calculation program. Its latest version 3.0 (July 2004) is available for Windows 9X/NT/2000/XP as well as GNU/Linux and Unix workstations. Binary versions are available for download. Today, Scilab is licensed for unrestricted use, as long as Scilab or one of its parts is not included in another commercial software package; in the latter case, authorization from INRIA is required. This authorization is automatically granted to members of the 3.1
