1.1 Installation

MATLAB is available for both Windows and Unix environments, and can be installed in one of two ways: the first is for use in local mode, the second for use in network mode.

Note :

installation under MacOs is more delicate than for other environments, but installation information and special patches are available on the MathWorks website.

  • Local mode under Windows: the Windows version of MATLAB comes with a PLP (Personal License Password) which identifies the products that can be installed. Like most Windows program installations, MATLAB is installed in default or customized mode. Installation requires administrator rights and a fairly substantial minimum...
