EDS (Excessive Daytime Sleepiness)

A symptom associated with several sleep disorders, characterized by a propensity for pathological daytime sleepiness.

ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) system

System for transcribing the audio content of a speech signal into equivalent text.

TILE (iterative sleep latency test); MSLT (Multiple Sleep Latency Test)

A medical examination carried out in sleep clinics, consisting of recording patients' polysomnographic activity when they take five naps over the course of the examination day.
