Examining the potential of soils means preserving them and thinking differently about how we live in our territories.
In this final section, we'll take a look at a number of recurring situations (housing estates, parking areas, business parks, infrastructures, natural areas) to examine the importance of taking soil potential into account in the ordinary urban fabric. This will undoubtedly enable us to avoid fighting the wrong battles, and to avoid opposing urbanization models - the dense city versus the diffuse city - but to reflect, in all circumstances, on how to put in place strategies for the economical use of soil.
