4. Application example: analysis of office indoor air
To assess the feasibility of the method, several samples were taken from a single 30 m 3 office. The office is located in a 1960s building constructed according to traditional construction rules. It is not equipped with VMC (controlled mechanical ventilation). The floor is made of plastic tiles, the false ceiling is made of expanded polystyrene, and the walls are painted (repainted in 2009). The furniture, installed in 2006, mainly comprises a desk with a plastic-covered chipboard top, and a metal and plastic cupboard.
