Coproduit ; Coproduct
A co-product is "a material unavoidably generated during a manufacturing process, simultaneously with the production of the main product. Like the main product, the co-product must meet particular specifications in order to be valorized, generally within specific channels. Co-products should not be considered as waste or by-products, as their use is an integral part of the recovery of the raw material".
