4. Management system audit standards
We will use the term "audit standard" here, restricting it to requirements contained in standards (or non-normative texts [because they are not always standards!] containing specified requirements).

The most famous of these is, of course, the NF EN ISO 9001 :2015 "Quality management systems – Requirements".
Built around a structure that is now identical for all management system standards (the so-called "HLS" framework structure), it comprises 116 requirements divided into seven clauses (see Box 1).
