2. Historical survey and sources of information

Historical and environmental documentary research involves a precisely organized investigation. To this end, information of different kinds and origins needs to be collected, cross-referenced and verified. Knowledge of the many sources of information and the type of information they can provide determines the quality of the study, which is closely linked to the timeframe and budget allocated for its completion.
