3. Public information obligation
The purpose of information is to enable the public to access information or documents, by setting up a system to organize effective access, but also by an active policy of public dissemination of this information.
Citizens have access to environmental information either because it is disseminated by those who hold it, or because they request access to specific information.
3.1 Public broadcasting obligation
Dissemination consists in making environmental information spontaneously available, without the public having made a specific request. The main dissemination methods used are posting and publication on paper or on the Internet.
