3. Preventive measures
There are three stages of prevention:
primary prevention, which involves combating risks before any problems arise. The aim is to combat risk at source;
secondary prevention, whose synonym could be the word "screening". Secondary prevention seeks to reveal an impairment in order to prevent a risk. This level of prevention reinforces a means of prevention already in place;
tertiary prevention, aimed at dealing with aberrations. It's about reacting to emergencies.
