soluble fraction
Parameter corresponding to the quantity of total dissolved matter in a sample resulting from the leaching of a solid sample under well-defined operating conditions (e.g. leaching according to standard NF EN 12457-2).
leaching
Treatment of a substance or waste with a liquid to extract its soluble constituents in accordance with current standards.
percolation
Leaching of waste in a column by a counter-current fluid. The upward percolation test consists of a percolation cell, an injection pump, a circulation cell, a conductivity probe, a collection jar and a bubbler.
