6. Conclusion
The ISO 14001-2015 standard, Environmental Management System (EMS), is a very useful tool for taking the environmental dimension into account by any organization, regardless of its location, size or sector of activity; it is based on the principle of continuous improvement, which is necessary because of the evolution of the acceptable level of environmental protection. To enable the implementation of an integrated management system (Environment, Quality, Safety), it seemed useful to modify the structure of the ISO 14001-2004 standard, to standardize the specifications applying to the same management system elements, and to add and modify a few definitions. It was also an opportunity to introduce a few enriching adjustments (life cycle perspective and environmental communication obligation). All in all, the ISO 14001-2015 version introduces no major changes, and should pose no difficulties...
