2. Overview
Interconnecting objects via the Internet is only of interest for useful applications, whether simple or complex. This interconnection starts with objects transmitting information in response to a situation or event, which is processed and often stored, then sent via networks and the Internet to objects receiving this information and carrying out one or more actions based on the information received.
Before going into detail about the components of the Internet of Things, it's worth presenting a few examples of applications.
