With the aim of maintaining and even improving performance, while reducing weight, three key areas of research have been developed:
computer-aided design, which has resulted in better material distribution, more consistent thicknesses and fewer fracture initiators;
quality control, which has enabled us to raise the average production level by guaranteeing very low return rates;
research into new materials used either as packaging materials or as additives in varnishes, glues and inks.
