2. Building an ethics management system

2.1 Two essential prerequisites

Implementing an ethics management system presupposes a two-pronged decision:

  • defining the scope of the ethics management system;

  • the choice of a structure to underpin this ethics management system.

The definition of the scope of a management system covers two elements:

  • the scope, which covers the activities, products and services covered by the management system;
