2. Preliminaries to monitoring

Before carrying out the measurements on the machines, it is essential to carefully prepare the route according to your objectives. This should result in :

  • a choice of machines to be monitored ;

  • precise knowledge of these machines;

  • a choice of the number and location of measurements carried out on each machine.
