3. Terahertz pulse imaging
In this section, we describe a THz imaging system based on ultrashort THz pulses. We'll look at the principle of the measurement system, its benefits and the use of data to produce images, and its ability to perform spectroscopic analysis. Its use in the study of heritage materials will be discussed through a few examples (reading old manuscripts, analyzing a painting on wood, studying covered graffiti).
