 INTRODUCTION

The study of noise disturbing an oscillator and the measurement of its levels are always carried out by comparing this oscillator with a reference oscillator. Models are described in the . However, there are two different ways of using these comparisons: the first is to process them in the time domain using variances; the second is to process these data directly in the spectral domain using a phase noise measurement bench.
