3. SQUID operating principle

3.1 SQUID radio frequency (SQUID rf)

Consider a superconducting ring interrupted by a Josephson junction whose thickness is negligible compared to the ring circumference. The condition of invariance modulo 2π of the phase of the macroscopic wave function is maintained, but translated differently in terms of magnetic flux due to the first Josephson equation, we obtain :
