3.1 General information on disturbance measurement

Depending on their nature and coupling mode, the disturbances produced can be measured in different ways. They will require sometimes complex equipment. Finally, a thorough and exhaustive characterization of all the disturbances produced by a device can be extremely long and tedious if no prior measures have been taken to limit them.
In order to facilitate and recognize the organization of these tests, they will be dealt with according to their usual priority, i.e. among the disturbances caused by a device, it is the sustained (or even modulated) disturbances affecting the spectrum, and therefore radio communications, which must be limited and therefore characterized as a priority....
