6. Validation
The validation step consists of validating or invalidating the entire procedure, which is made up of all the preceding steps. This step is fundamental, since if it is successful, the procedure can be deployed, whereas if it fails, one or more of its steps must be revised.

The first important point in validation is to ensure that the data used for validation is not the same as the data used for training. The simplest method is to split the available data into two parts, keeping the first part for learning and the second part for validation.
