3. Description of measuring equipment
In addition to presenting the method, the other interesting aspect of this article is the presentation of the associated pyroreflectometer. This system is made up of three independent entities:
the emission and detection unit for measurements ;
the measuring probe for illuminating and observing the surface;
the software used to analyze measurements and process them using the method.
3.1 Emission and detection unit
This unit, commonly referred to as a "Pyref", is a self-contained, industrial-type system whose characteristics are defined in the technical data sheet (Box 1).
