Generally speaking, operating precautions (mounting, positioning, cleanliness) are essential in most circumstances. Nonetheless, measuring equipment, particularly in industrial environments, is often subjected to harsh environmental conditions (temperature rise, water hammer, vibration, humidity, corrosive atmosphere, electrical or electromagnetic interference, etc.), and requires reinforced protection by various mechanical or electrical accessories.
