6. "Catchweigher
A "catchweigher" is mainly used to transmit a mass to a computerized weighing system. This type of equipment is mainly used for shipping parcels. It can be combined with an automatic or semi-automatic system to measure the volume of the package being weighed.

To market this IPFA, the manufacturer will follow the technical specifications defined in OIML recommendation R 51-1.
