7. Conclusion

With global warming and the need to save energy, choosing the right albedo is essential. An air-conditioned office building will consume much less energy if it is properly protected from the sun's rays. In another field, that of climate, being able to measure and anticipate variations in this parameter as a function of changing climatic conditions, or the clogging or disappearance of polar ice caps and glaciers, makes it easier to predict climate change. Regulations and standards impose albedo values above certain thresholds. It is therefore imperative to be able to measure albedo accurately and to know the measurement uncertainty in order to deliver a construction or product that complies with specifications....
