Detection range ; Range
Maximum distance at which a LiDAR sensor can accurately detect objects or surfaces. This depends on laser power, wavelength, sensor sensitivity, atmospheric conditions, target reflectivity, etc.
3D Point Cloud
Collection of data points in three-dimensional space. A LiDAR point cloud can also include other data such as reflected signal intensity and Doppler velocity.
Resolution spatiale; Spatial Resolution
Distance between two adjacent points in the point cloud. It determines the level of detail of the perceived object. In general, LiDAR spatial resolution is coarser than that of video cameras.
