Norms; standard

A standard is a document, established by consensus and approved by a recognized body, which provides, for common and repeated use, rules, guidelines or characteristics for activities or their results, guaranteeing an optimum level of order in a given context. An international standard is a standard adopted by an international organization with normative activities and made available to the public .

Capacity; capability

The capacity of a system is its ability to provide a service, in a given environment, with given performance and usage constraints, independently of the means used to provide this service.
