3. Attractiveness and variable systems

The sliding regime is conditioned by the fact that it is possible to maintain the evolution of the system on the sliding surface. In the case of fixed (invariant and unperturbed) processes, the use of equivalent control makes it possible to keep the discontinuity on the control as small as desired, as seen in the introductory example 2.1 .
