6. Scale tolerance
6.1 Regulatory method (standard NF EN 45501)
From the value of the verification scale interval (e ) and the accuracy class (indicated by a Roman numeral in an oval field) read on the scale, the regulatory tolerance (or maximum permissible error) of the scale is determined using the table 4 .
