4.1 Preliminary operations

Their purpose is to ensure the validity of the tests. The following operations are recommended.

– The scale is adjusted and checked before calibration to limit its uncertainty components.

– The water must be bubble-free and at the same temperature as the air (< 0.5°C difference) (§ 3.3 ).
