Weighing is an essential step for laboratories and industry alike. Mass standards are used to ensure that the result matches the set criteria. Certified weights that simulate the test sample are used to evaluate the balance's behavior. The shape, material and value of these weights ensure the durability of controls over time.
As the weights are used regularly, it is necessary to renew their calibration. In the event of a handling incident, they must be recalibrated. When the chosen accredited laboratory has a long lead time, the check is no longer carried out, and the scale's behavior is no longer monitored. To reduce time and costs, the solution is to carry out calibration on your own premises.
