8. Regulatory framework

In the absence of a consensus on the definition and level of action of endocrine disruptors, these substances are therefore taken into account in the European framework of Classification, Labeling and Packaging of Chemicals (CLP) and national legislation for chemicals and biocides, particularly with regard to CMR hazardous chemical agents (carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction).
