2.1 Flow through an orifice. Torricelli's formula

Consider a tank containing a heavy incompressible fluid (figure 4 a). This reservoir has an orifice, small in relation to the dimensions of the reservoir, which allows the fluid to escape. The problem is to calculate the particle velocity of the fluid jet flowing into the atmosphere (figure 4 b).
