4. Sizing a terminal

In the rest of this paragraph, we'll explain how, based on a projected traffic level, we can estimate the number of people present in each module of the terminal, and deduce the sizing of the infrastructure.

4.1 Choice of design traffic level

  • This choice mainly involves two parameters:

    • duration of service, i.e. the number of years during which the terminal must offer a good quality of service;

    • number and type of annual peak-hour passengers.
