2. Tools for simulating microgravity on Earth

It is possible to simulate the effects of microgravity in a laboratory. These devices have the advantage of being small and inexpensive. They allow unlimited time for experimentation. However, due to the significant bias generated, simulated microgravity research conducted on Earth must be verified by experiments in space.

2.1 Random positioning machines and similar devices

Random positioning machines use rotary devices. Different models have been developed to deal with the diversity of the samples studied.
