3. Evolution of power diagrams in electric traction

3.1 History

We can now better understand the evolution of electric traction through the components that have been used to control the motor from the outset. It's clear that the three-component equation had to be constantly solved:

  • which traction motor for which mission?

  • how to control this engine?

  • which supply voltage?
