ABSTRACT
In the pharmaceutical industry field, the supply chain must comply with numerous principles and recommendations indispensable to the smooth functioning of operations. Indeed, the control of the supply chain as a whole and of its various actors requires a specific type of logistics. However, other essential aspects such as the perspective of cost reduction or optimization of performances cannot be set aside. The theoretical aspect of the organization of a supply chain (actors, impacts, strategies, prospects, etc.) is described along with the various tools and means at the service of distribution.

INTRODUCTION
The supply chain is an organization designed to deliver the right product, in the right quantity, at the right quality level, to the right place, at the right time. All with a view to reducing costs, gaining competitive advantage and improving value creation.
To achieve this result, there are no miracle solutions or miracle approaches, but a set of principles and recommendations to follow. These principles have been studied in a very specific field, the pharmaceutical industry, and more specifically at the level of distribution logistics. The question is how to master a global chain that is anything but a linear sequence of docile, well-ordered links.
