6. Conclusion

Today, technologies have reached such a level of development that it is now possible to transfer to robots a range of responsibilities and functions previously reserved exclusively for humans. The field of service robotics, and more specifically medical robotics, is a representative example of this evolution. This raises the issue of the trust placed in these technological systems, and in particular that of safety.

The complexity of such systems is such that it is impossible today to guarantee absolute safety. As a result, there are no tools or techniques that can free users of medical robots from all risk.
