2. Vaginal microbiota transplantation
Vaginosis is a syndrome characterized by a qualitative and quantitative imbalance in the normal vaginal microbial flora, with lactobacilli being replaced by anaerobic flora. The resulting imbalance is a source of numerous problems, including increased susceptibility to sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy-related complications (premature deliveries, reduced success of in vivo fertilization).
A conceptual vision of a possible treatment of this dysbiosis by transferring microbiota (figure 1 ) from healthy women to patients with an unbalanced ecosystem has been described by two teams
