Environmental pollutants
Molecules present in the environment and not present in a given organism, liable to contaminate it through acute or chronic exposure.
Microenvironment
Environment of a cell or group of cells, itself composed of cells or matrix elements, interacting with these cells through physical (e.g. matrix) or secretory interactions of various kinds (hormones, growth factors, nutrients, etc.).
Organoid
Cell architecture that reproduces, in part under in vitro culture conditions, the complex properties of an organ or tissue.
