3.1 Positives
This research program is based on collaboration between Naval Group and two academic partners, with whom industrial experts have been sharing and producing knowledge and results of scientific and industrial interest for many years.
This relationship of mutual knowledge and trust was the basis for the research we undertook, which culminated in 2020 in the development of a comprehensive numerical method, called SIMEC CFD (for "simulation of heat exchangers by CFD"), based on :
development of a code adapted to CFD modeling of steam generators and condensers with an industrial code (ANSYS/Fluent);
writing specific functions (or UDFs, user-defined functions) in this code and optimizing...
