3.1 Project review

Erwan Jacquin and Jean-François Sigrist carried out an initial application of the proposed model, providing expert advice to the French Directorate for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture (DGAMPA), as part of the work to draw up a roadmap for decarbonizing the maritime sector (the industry's contribution to Article 301 of the French Climate and Resilience Act).

Among other things, the tool was used to draw up and analyze different decarbonization scenarios, assessing the gains (lower emissions and consumption) and estimating the resources required (in energy and financial terms). Among the seven scenarios studied, a "reference scenario" was selected, whose main assumptions and results are presented in the reference document...
