4. Conclusion

To date, Europe has no common regulations outside the framework regulation, although paper and cardboard and articles processed from paper and cardboard intended for contact with foodstuffs are awaiting specific measures under this regulation.

As a result, economic players are obliged to refer to the relevant national regulations where they exist.

For France, the reference instruments are all the texts contained in Brochure 1227, the guide to good paper and cardboard practice and the DGCCRF information notes (cf. ).

As part of the ANIA/CLIFE reciprocal commitments, users of materials and objects receive a declaration of conformity from the signatory company, which guarantees the product's compliance with regulations. This conformity is valid for a type of contact and under the conditions defined...
