There are many glass-cutting techniques other than wheel cutting, which are at different stages of development or industrialization: saw or abrasive wheel cutting, waterjet cutting, laser cutting, ultrasonic cutting... Among these constantly evolving techniques, we have chosen to give only an overview of laser cutting and waterjet cutting in this section.
