The harmonization of testing standards has resulted in unified nominal characteristics for geosynthetics. The harmonization of dimensioning approaches will enable the technique to flourish once again.
Innovation in the field of geosynthetics is needed to meet the challenges of more complex infrastructure construction. The development of new geosynthetic reinforcement layers requires qualification on the major points that enable the design of reinforced structures:
