Table 12 shows the harvested areas of the main fiber crops (excluding cotton) for the years 2015 to 2017, as well as the distribution of production zones for 2017. The plants are classified according to surface area. These are statistical data from the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), which can be consulted on their dedicated website (see To find out more).
